Argos Farm Wedding Photos

Thank you for stopping by to read today’s blog about Argos Farm wedding photos!

Several years ago I was lucky enough to do family photos for the WONDERFUL owners of Argo’s, Angela and Spyro.  They are kind, family oriented and amazing members of our local community.  I was so excited to when the beautiful bride Bridget told me she was having their wedding at Argos Farm in Forked River! Knowing Bridget’s personality and vision I knew it would be the perfect location for her and Ian to celebrate their wedding. As a South Jersey wedding photographer I have worked at hundreds of venues and few are as unique, interesting and owned by an amazing family like Argos Farm.

Ian and Bridget made so many amazing details to incorporate into their wedding day. They truly made the day unique and personalized from Bridget’s cowgirl boots to leaving the church on the motorcycle Ian built to the giant fire pit for smore’s Argos Farm created to the final send off of a Mr Softee ice cream truck!  The bride and groom raved the entire process about how great their experience with the farm was.  Argos’ Farm in Lacey was the perfect location for stunning and unique wedding photos!

Bridget, Ian and their guests spent the night eating and drinking while one of their favorite bands played.  The entire day went so smooth from start to finish. It was beautiful to watch the vision I had heard them talk about come to life!

To the newlyweds:  thank you for letting me be apart of something so beautiful.  I hope your forever is just as beautiful as day one.

  • Q. Where was your ceremony and reception held?
    A. Ceremony at St. Mary’s in Barnegat and reception at Argo’s Farm
  • Q. What made you decide on your reception location?
    A. THE OWNERS! I had my heart set on a different location and was just trying to talk Ian into it. I wanted no part of Argo’s originally. But Angela the owner sold it. I would’ve paid just to have her & Spyro. They are such wonderful people.
  • Q. What was your favorite little detail you DIY’d for your day?
    A. Our centerpieces! They came out exactly how I’d imagined. And brought such a nice touch having the growlers from Pinelands in there. Katie at Reynold’s really brought it to life with the beautiful wildflowers and sunflowers.
  • Q. How many dresses did you try on before you found the one? Who was the designer of your dress?
    A. 6!
  • Q. If you could change one thing, what would it be?
    A. I’d elope! (With the same photographer of course! 😉 )
  • Q. Do you have any advice for future brides?
    A. So cliche, but stop and take it all in. It goes by SO fast. You’re pulled in every direction all day, make sure you take a moment to sit back and take it all in.
  • Q. What was your favorite moment of the day?
    A. Saying “I do” and finally becoming Ian’s wife. A childhood dream come true; I found my Prince
