Batsto Village Wedding Photos | South Jersey Wedding Photographer | Katie & Erik

Wedding

Today’s blog is all about Batsto Village wedding photos! Mr & Mrs Hudson had beautiful weather, a STUNNING ceremony space in front of an old mansion at Batsto and a laid back party vibe for their reception at Annata Wine Bar in Hammonton NJ.  Katie had all of her beautiful details ready and waiting for me at the bed and breakfast she stayed in before the wedding.  The girls arrived looking amazing from hair and makeup and the day went off with out a hitch!   Their ceremony was worded so intimately, it was beautiful to watch and be apart of. We stayed at Batsto for a bit after for portraits and then headed to the wine bar where everyone (myself included!) danced the night away.  Katie and Erik- I wish you two happiness upon happiness for the rest of your lives.  I am honored to have been apart of your wedding and privileged to call you friends!

  • Q. Where was your ceremony and reception held?
    A. Batsto Historic Village , Annata Wine Bar Hammonton
  • Q. What made you decide on your reception location?
    A. We go there all the time for dinner and love the staff food and setting and the ceremony spot Erik and I picked because we always go there to hike.
  • Q. What was your favorite little detail you DIY’d for your day?
    A. I loved our seating chart and table numbers. Table numbers were pictures of us at each age and the seating chart was two old window frames I found. Cleaned them up and hung everyone’s names on them.
  • Q. How many dresses did you try on before you found the one? Who was the designer of your dress?
    A. David’s bridal style wg3529. I saw a discontinued one online and my mom found it in a David’s bridal was the last one in my size anywhere so she bought It. Tried on and fit perfect and loved it ! I tried a few on after but none beat it.
  • Q. If you could change one thing, what would it be?
    A. Our surprise guest hahaha!! He was in people’s way ( wrong photographer showed up at our wedding ) other than that loved it all!!
LTP EDIT: I was there but a photographer I don’t know showed up and thought it was his hired wedding.  His wedding was at another building but he realized that long after the ceremony was over.  It was interesting!
  • Q. Do you have any advice for future brides?
    A. Less is more. We went simple on things and didn’t get stressed out over stuff. It’s such a quick day enjoy every second !
  • Q. What was your favorite moment of the day?
    A. Seeing Erik at the end of the aisle and both of my father daughter dances one with my stepdad and one with my brother for my dad that passed away but truly I loved every second of our day.
