Blue Heron Pines Wedding Photos | New Jersey Wedding Photographer | Golf Course Wedding

Today’s blog features Blue Heron Pines wedding photos! On a hot, sunny, perfect August day Stephanie and Brian said I do in front of their friends and family.  We spent time on the golf course and under the willow tree capturing the couples first look and portraits.  We were even lucky enough to sneak out and get some amazing sunset images!  I have been lucky enough to know the bride’s family since high school and captured her brother’s wedding.  Normally in a blog I fill the space with facts about details and descriptions of the things you can see. Today I decided to change that up and talk about the three things that come to mind when ever I think of Stephanie and Brian’s wedding….

  1. That dress though….  The dori dress. This stunning Hayley Paige design  has it’s own cult following. Soon-tobe-brides go crazy for this design.  Stephanie (and everyone else!) LOVED her gown.  Sure, most girls are in love with their gown but Stephanie really LOVED her gown.  As a photographer seeing a client so happy makes my heart happy!  This dress was it’s feature of the day, almost another personality in the room.
  2. Stephanie is a tough cookie. Mentally and cross-fit-physically.  She may kill me for saying this but I am hoping our friendship will outweigh that…. Stephanie isn’t exactly one to show her soft side, but I promise you it is there.  During their ceremony their was a prayer that brought her to tears.  She whispered to Brian she needed “just one more minute” before she was ready to leave the moment and pull herself together and turn back around to the crowd.  Brian smiled softly and nodded his head in agreement.  Seeing Stephanie get so personal about her relationship with God and how Brian understood that moved me and stuck with me.
  3. The father daughter dance to Dierks Bently-  Riser.  This was the first time I heard this song.  A million song writers could not have written anything better or more perfect for those three minutes.
