Bonnet Island Wedding Pictures – The Rametta Wedding

This weekend Lauren and John had an amazing wedding at Bonnet Island Estate. As a member of Weddings of Distinction, I am so lucky to be able to work at their stellar venues often. Lauren and John added so many beautiful touches to their wedding and it truly was a perfect day! The rain stopped early in the monring and while the clouds remained all day, we were able to do all of our portraits outdoors and the couple got the day they had been planning for months!

The day began with the bride’s friends helping her into her amazing Hayley Paige Behati gown from Kleinfeld’s. The girls wore simple gowns in Whisper Blue by Jenny Yoo. The florals for the day were endless, in every corner there were stunning flowers by Jacqueline’s Florist and featured thistle blue flower, silver dollar eucalyptus, and veronica. The newlyweds opted for a first look so we could do all their photos earlier in the day so they could enjoy time with guests.

The weather was extremely windy and overcast but the couple had the most amazing attitude and energy through the day. As they walked out of the boathouse chappel as husband and wife, a gust of wind took Lauren’s veil and it landed on the chapel roof and stayed there all night! Lauren laughed and didn’t skip a beat and kept her upbeat attitude and headed straight into the party! I loved that they didn’t let any hiccups of the day get in their way.

Guests enjoyed gourmet food by Merri Makers, music from a 10+ piece band, an amazing traveling trailer photo booth, a stellar donut and dessert bar and an end of night suprise – a pork roll food truck!
