Costa Rica Wedding Pictures | Playa Flamingo Costa Rica Wedding | Destination Wedding Photographer

Today’s blog is all about Costa Rica wedding pictures!  Nastasha and Josh had their dream Playa Flamingo Costa Rica wedding and I was lucky enough to be their destination wedding photographer!  We spent 5 days at a beautiful resort tucked away on the shore line of Costa Rica. Nastasha and Josh were surrounded by friends and family while they spent their days surfing and nights relaxing.

Everything seemed to flow smoothly the day of the wedding.  The boys got to surf in the morning while the girls started to get ready.  The bride looked stunning in her backless lace gown.  Her flowers arrived and were the pink roses she wanted.  The weather was hot but the sun was shining and all the details they worked so hard on were falling into place.  There was one glitch – the person that was supposed to marry them didn’t show!  But that didn’t phase the bride and groom.  The bride’s father stepped in and married the couple at the private beach across from the resort.  After the vows the couple and guests went upstairs to a private area where they ate, drank and danced the night away.

The morning after the wedding we had a day after session where the couple got dressed again and went surfing.  The groom custom made surf boards for both of them as a wedding gift. The couple took a moment in the ocean on their boards to start their first day as a married couple with a prayer.  It was a beautiful and peaceful moment!
