Hello!  Thank you for stopping by today to experience Sarah and David’s snowy beach engagement photos on LBI!

Recently I Sarah and David became engaged and booked their wedding at the amazing Brandt Beach Yacht Club!  Capturing snowy beach engagement photos on LBI was fun, but I am really looking forward to their bay side, warm and sunny June wedding!

I work on the beach, a lot, a whole lot actually!  But it’s rare I get the opportunity to work on the beach with a little bit of snow.  On Saturday we had a decent snow storm and I was happy there were still remnants of snow on Sunday for our session. Sarah and David were troopers with the weather.  I gave them the option of rescheduling but I was secretly excited when they decided to move forward with our original plans! We headed out to one of my favorite beaches to use on LBI.  This beach has long walkways, trees, grasses, fence and so much more.  I never get sick of photographing couples and families here!

Although it was cold, it was bearable.  Sarah and David were so easy going and a pleasure to work with.  We took time during our session to get to know each other better and discuss our evening plans.  Theirs- food shopping.  Mine – decorating gingerbread houses.  Clearly, we all had big nights ahead of us, ha. We stopped along the way of our walk to grab portraits and I was so excited as a large cloud moved so I could give them the image with a warm glowing sun behind a tree to mix things up a bit!  We ended near our cars with a little, tiny, baby, snowy, pine tree, a pinecone we found and Sarah’s beautiful ring!  I may have taken way-too-many images in that spot.  As primarily a beach photographer I get excited to incorporate other natural elements into photos.  I think the results are beautiful!
