During the maid of honors speech, she explained that Ed (the groom) saw a photo of a beautiful girl (Amanda, the bride) on her phone and told her “I am going to marry that girl one day”. Fast forward through meeting, dating, buying a home and the most handsome little man you have ever seen and you will arrive at this couples wedding day! The day was absolute perfection. The bride looked stunning, the wedding party was full of energy and great to be around, the venue outstanding and the couples love completely genuine. I hope you enjoy your sneak peak into the couples amazing day and the Ashford Estate wedding photos!
As a weddings of distinction preferred vendor, I am lucky to work at their amazing venues. While each location offers something different and amazing – the Ashford Estate makes my heart skip a beat with its endless gardens and outstanding architecture. (Take a photo tour of their entire location with me here!) As if the venue wasn’t amazing enough, Amanda and Ed’s family and friends filled the location with laughter, good energy and a lot of FUN!
The day began with everyone getting ready at the estate, hair by Deb’s Main Tease in Manahawkin and Makeup by my gal pal Donna at Makeup Artistry. The girls got ready in the exquisite bridal suite while the guys did all of the usually guy things guys do (aka hang out and have some drinks!) The couple began with a first look and we moved right into portraits. The ceremony was beautiful and flowed directly into cocktail hour. The couple opted to have more photos then, while the sun was beginning to set and creating a warm and beautiful glow.
The party then kicked off in the amazing reception room! Drinks flowed, everyone danced and enjoyed a gourmet meal by Merri Makers Catering. The tables, ceremony and wedding party florals were perfection by Reynolds. After the cake cutting we ended our time with the couple outdoors for some amazing night time photos!
Amanda and Ed – thank you for having us there to document such an amazing day. I am filled with gratitude that I was able to be part of something so amazing!
