How to plan your surprise proposal at Barnegat Lighthouse State Park

This specific proposal took place at 4:45pm in May.  You can see the light is on the brighter side but I was able to make it all work beautifully as I know the area well!  The lighthouse can be a tough location due to high foot traffic with tourists.  Planning to the best of our abilities for the 430-5pm time rang is generally a slower time at the park.   Together we choose the location and iron out all the details.  The day of the session you will text me when you are on your way what you are both wearing and once again when you park your vehicle.  From there I am already in place waiting for you!

Once you have asked the question and I have given you a few minutes to soak in all that goodness and joy we will slowly move into an engagement session.  We will walk the grounds and I will take you to all go my favorite locations in the park.  I love to take advantage of the obvious places you would expect as well as some paths and hidden corners I fell add some beautiful variety to your gallery.  We will use the sandy ground near the beach and depending on tides and time of year we also may have the opportunity to use the rocks and water for even more beautiful landscape in your engagement photos.   Once the session is complete you will have your images in a few days!
