Happy Monday! Thank you for stopping by to read today’s blog about Berkeley Asbury Wedding Photos! Rob and Kristen had an amazing, classy, and timeless wedding this weekend in Asbury Park.
Rob and Kristen (and their pup Daisy!) live in Asbury and love the area. They knew they wanted to start their lives together there and celebrate with friends and family at the iconic Berkeley Oceanfront hotel. Their venue has an amazing feel. Grand. Vintage. Classic. Hip. Elegant. It’s everything you can dream up tied together with ocean views AND it’s dog-friendly! These are all wins in my book!
From our first meeting, Kristen told me she wanted a very classic and timeless event. Every inch of her day reflected that energy. From her simple yet strong invitation set to the stunning florals by Reynolds to the groom’s classic suit jacket design and most important the gown. I usually use the word dress in blogs but Kristen’s needs to be called a gown. It was one of the most simple, but grand and timeless gown’s I have ever photographed. The couple executed their theme with absolute perfection. The entire day was beautiful from start to finish.
The bride and groom opted to not have a first look and keep things more traditional and see one another for the first time during the ceremony. Once the ceremony was completed we headed to the mezzanine for photos of the entire weddings party followed by some portraits of the bride and groom and still were able to get them back to enjoy their cocktail hour per Kristen’s request! Taking a cue from their timeless and elegant day we opted to give their portraits more of that feel to fully tell their story in it’s truest form.
From cocktail hour until the end of the evening the newlyweds and guests sipped on amazing cocktails, dined on excellent food and danced the night away!
Mr & Mrs Holly – I wish you all the beautiful and wonderful things life has to offer!
