A December wedding on Long Beach Island has a magic all its own—and this elegant Christmas celebration at Hotel LBI was the perfect example of coastal beauty meeting festive winter warmth. Set against the serene backdrop of LBI in the off-season, this Hotel LBI wedding featured classic holiday décor, a refined color palette, and intentional details that elevated every moment. The couple opted to not have a first look so all of our portraits were indoors, but Hotel LBI still brings the coastal and beach vibe couples are looking for.
From the deep navy blue wedding party attire to the hotel’s red and gold Christmas décor, the day felt timeless, romantic, and beautifully curated—ideal inspiration for couples planning a winter wedding at Hotel LBI.

There’s something undeniably special about a December Christmas wedding on Long Beach Island. The island feels quieter, more intimate, and incredibly romantic during the winter months. Hotel LBI embraces the season fully, transforming its modern coastal interiors with lush Christmas trees, glowing lights, rich reds, and elegant gold accents.
For this celebration, the festive décor became part of the design story—enhancing the couple’s vision without overpowering it. The result was a sophisticated holiday atmosphere that felt welcoming and warm.

The couple choose to have their ceremony in the ballroom and had their cocktail hour on the enclosed patio where guests enjoyed an array of food and custom drinks. The Christmas trees they brought in for the ceremony stayed the entire night and were the perfect addition to the holiday spirit.

The couple decided to not have a first look and do their wedding and family portraits in the living room after the ceremony before the reception began.

The reception began for this Hotel LBI winter wedding, the couple shared their first dance and guests enjoyed surf and turf dinner, drinks and dancing all night!
