LBI Sunrise Wedding – Mandie and Dell

Thank you for reaching today’s blog about an LBI Sunrise Wedding! Mandie and Dell had a specific vision for their wedding: it had to be at sunrise, intimate and relaxed. They did the perfect job of bringing their vision to life. When searching or a venue I suggested 101 Center to them, the perfect spot. It’s a beautiful, large home with history. It’s steps from the ocean. It has a giant yard to accommodate a picnic for their 50 guests.

The day started very early, so we did things in reverse! Traditionally all the getting ready and detail photos are done first, for this wedding they were done after. This small sentiment was actually the perfect way to compliment the story of this couple and I love how it all unfolded. I arrived at the house while it was still dark. Mother nature would soon put on a beautiful display and fill the skies with the most beautiful colors.

The brides walked to the ceremony together and promised forever under the most perfect sky. After their ceremony and some portraits, the family gathered for a breakfast at the home. The newlyweds spent time enjoying the morning with those they love and we then walked around Beach Haven to capture more portraits.

Around noon more friends and family began to arrive to celebrate their union in an outdoor picnic style gathering with the most perfect breeze from the ocean surrounding them. Bailey, the couples adorable dog, may have enjoyed her time more than anyone getting love, attention and trying to help herself to some appetizers.

Mandy and Dell: from the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to be part of something so beautiful. The skies were perfect and our walk home from the local library after portraits brought my heart so much joy. I am grateful I was given the opportunity to document this day and provide you with portraits that I feel truly represent your connection as a couple.
