June on LBI with warm sun, perfect blue skies with white fluffy clouds and a soon to be mom and dad. What more could I ask for for maternity picures? In anticipation for their baby boy this couple wanted to have some maternity photos while they were on vacation to honor this amazing time in their life. We met in Surf City under the very bright and warm sun and headed to the beach for their session. This session was simple and classic. There weren’t any props, just the love between mom and dad and the baby growing in her belly!
Traditionally I do maternity photos around the 7 month mark. This ensures mom’s “bump” is showing but she can still get around fairly easily. I suggest you pick a location that is meaningful to you and allow me to pick the time based on the season. Mother Nature has no rules or promises but she is good about giving us a general guideline of what will work best!
The newest arrivals name was chosen as Jack! I usually do this for newborns but decided to do it today also! My little blog feature called “Name that baby!”
