This New Jersey beach wedding took place at the Sea Shell Resort in Beach Haven on Long Beach Island. Courtney and Carmine have been coming to Beach Haven for years and knew they wanted to have their wedding there as soon as they got engaged. They had their wedding under beautiful blue skies on a perfect Sunday in June. Their nautical theme incorporated navy and pink with many personal touches. Of all the beautiful details their wedding cake topper was one of my favorites. They love the beach. Carmine loves to fish. Courtney loves to read and collect sea glass. Their cake topper had two adirondack beach chairs with a fishing pole, tackle box, book and sea glass. I loved the simplicity and sentiment of that perfect detail!

The bride wore a beautiful white gown with lace details and a short veil. She adorned her grandmother’s rings and pearl accents. The groom wore customized Sperrys with navy pants and a navy and white searsucker suit jacket. They had a beautiful ceremony before drinking and dancing the night away with an amazing live band, The Nerds. Guests enjoyed a full raw and sushi bar during cocktail hour and the Sea Shell Resorts amazing Duck Key Chicken. Close to sunset the bride and groom headed to the beach for a few portraits and shortly after the groom Carmine had the privilege of playing the cowbell with the Nerds! Don’t we all need a little more cowbell in life?
