Today’s blog title is Elope on LBI and that is a little bit of a lie! Jenna and Cory had a very small and intimate wedding but live locally, so I am not quite sure that counts as an elopement! I recently talked about how I ended up getting lost in YEARS of wedding photos for three hours one Sunday morning. I wanted to share some of the valuable lessons I learned, sweet stories and moments I still remember and more!
I truly love a small and intimate wedding. There is something so sweet and real about sharing your day with just those in your inner circle. I love a big party, but having a day with your closest friends and family is so special. Jenna and Cory made the choice to have an intimate and beautiful day. There were so many quiet but strong moments. My absolute favorite was that her grandfather drove her to her wedding in his classic car. He was SO excited and happy to do this for her. You can see in his smile below that he was overflowing with joy. These sweet and sentimental moments are what create beautiful stories to pass on to future generations. I adore the first image below more than I can even put into words, and that handsome man isn’t even my family!
This wedding was the very first time I was ever inside the Spray Beach Chapel. I have lived here almost my whole life, but don’t recall being there before this. This church is amazing. Seriously. It is so small intimate and stunning. The stained glass and wood floor to ceiling give it an amazing and unique feel. It’s tiny and not great for every wedding, but if you are going to elope on LBI or having a small wedding I can’t recommend this place enough!
If you choose to elope on LBI I hope you find this post helpful! For more images like Elope on LBI click here!
