Hello! I am glad you found your way here to read today’s blog about Batsto Maternity photos! March can be kind of dreary. Lately, it has been raining, windy and this weeks bomb cyclone storm didn’t help. (Truth: I don’t understand what a bomb cyclone is.) When I arrived today for my Batsto maternity photos I was SO EXCITED Katie wore a bright and cheerful dress. It immediately got me out of my funk!
A few years ago Katie and Erik had their wedding at Batso, so it was only natural we returned there to do their maternity session! Katie’s baby shower is later today so I wanted to make sure I got a sneak peak up so that she could show off some of her photos. I love working with Katie and Erik! Their wedding was a blast, they are so laid back and easy going, I knew today would be just as wonderful! Katie and I share a good friend (Heeeeey Lu!) so I am lucky that I get to see her for occasional lunch dates, family parties and in our glory days some country concerts in Lu’s parent RV. Mr & Mrs Hudson fulfilled all of my expectations of rolling with the flow, making me laugh and being down for a little adventure.
We spent time walking around, ventured off the beaten path a bit, and did a new version of a few of their wedding photos I took. I am so happy I got the chance to spend some time with them today before they welcome their sweet little gal into this world! Baby Girl Hudson, you are already loved more than you will ever know! Your parents are so excited to snuggle you, love you and raise you into a beautiful young girl, that doesn’t date until she is 42. Daddy can’t handle it a day before then : )
