Thank you for coming to read today’s blog about an Asbury Park photographer and sunrise engagement photos!
It has been bitter cold lately in New Jersey but Kristen and Rob picked the PERFECT morning for their sunrise engagement session in Asbury! It was 58 degrees at 6 am and their location had a perfect break in the clouds and a beautiful jetty. Kristen and Rob brought their pup Daisy and we had an amazing session. Our morning began at the beach where the skies turned amazing shades of pink and purple as the sun came over the horizon. The cloud cover made for stunning colors and textures in the sky.
Before their session Kristen had talked to me about how much they love where they live. She wanted to feature some of the things they love about Asbury. I think adding personal details and another way to tell your story in an engagement session is the PERFECT idea. From the beaches to the boardwalk to the architecture to the work of local artists Asbury has an endless array of beautiful aspects to add detail to their engagement session.
Once the sun had risen we went for a walk on the boards and took advantage of some of the beautifully painted murals. Miss Daisy the pup was in charge for most of session. She may be the happiest and most laid back gal in the world but she wanted to be involved in everything, we were all ok with that! Our final stop was where Rob and Kristen will have their November wedding, one of the most unique venues at the Jersey Shore, The Berkley. We spent some time on the roof top deck and ended with a puppy-snuggle-session in my favorite part of the Berkley, the black and white tile floor room! I am sure it has a specific name, but that’s what I like to call it! It’s grand, simple, timeless and amazing.
Kristen and Rob – thank you for letting me document such a beautiful time in your lives! The sunrise was perfect and the images are stunning, but the photo of the three of you and Rob getting kisses from Daisy may be my favorite from the session. There is nothing more I love in life then a true, candid moment!
