Thank you for reading today’s blog about a South Jersey Family Photographer session!

Today is all about the man, they myth, the legend – the Fletcher!  I was so excited to get this adorable little guy in front of my camera this week.  That smile is INFECTIOUS!  Looking at that big ole’ grin has to make you smile from ear to ear.  He was sweet and full of giggles once we got him going.  Lucky for me he responded really well to me making an incredibly high pitched squeal and saying (actually screeching) “There he is!”.  Unlucky for his poor parents who had to hear me say it a thousand times.  It’s amazing what we do to get kids to smile!

I have worked with Fletcher’s momma in the wedding industry for several years.  His parents came to our session calm and ready for whatever happened.  That is always the best energy for parents to have.  When you come to a session expecting reality beautiful things happen.  As you scroll below you will see the silhouette-esk photo of this beautiful family.  That is reality.  That is just a sweet moment between them and it’s perfect in my eyes.  Having expectations of everything being pinterest perfect is not reality, especially when dealing with toddlers.  When mom and dad are calm, cool and collected the session will flow with ease and yield amazing results.

The weather for our session was looking blah, then suddenly mother nature decided to come out of her funky mood and gave us a beautiful and vibrant sunset.  Normally my photos at sunset involve lighting set ups.  Lights and little bambinos don’t always get along. I decided to wing it with no lights and roll with what was happening.  I am so glad I did. I love all of the sunset images from this session!
