Thank you for coming to read today’s blog about a my amazing job as a South Jersey professional photographer!

Today’s blog focuses on a session captured in August 2016 on LBI.  As a South Jersey  photographer I have worked all over the state and beyond.  One on my favorite places to work is my home – Long Beach Island. Last year I wanted to extend my services and offer something different to my clients.  I began offering sunrise sessions to my clients to capture something most people miss every morning – amazing sunrises on the ocean. I am so fortunate to live in an area that aligns so well with the career I am so passionate about. I love that this session shows the different skies of sunrise photos.  They start off dramatic and bold, the skies then go a little bland and then it ends with more color!

The couple in the photo – Jess and Cole – were kind enough to meet me at the beach at 530 am one morning.  Jess is my guy Dylan’s younger sister and Cole is her boyfriend.  I am so grateful that Dylan has a large an AWESOME family.  I seriously love all of his siblings and family. Dylan is one of five and all five of them are great!  Cole and Jess are hard core LBI fans… and now that I know Cole’s summer house is so close to Pearl Street Market I may be seeing them A LOT this summer.

As a South Jersey Photographer I have some tips and ideas to share with you to make your photo session run smoothly!

• Let your photographer help you choose locations and times, their expertise will help you get the best results.
• Choose outfits that you feel comfortable in and compliment the location you have agreed upon.
• Relax!  Enjoy the experience and have fun!  Everyone is nervous before a session.  Let your photographer help you with this.
• Bring a few bobby pins to your beach session, there are always a few stands of hair that get a little wild in the wind.
