Barnegat Light Engagement Pictures – Megan and Tom!

Megan and Tom were so sweet to work with! They are having their wedding in Hilton Head but wanted to have their engagement photos done on LBI because it’s a special place to them. Megan’s family has a home near LBI and they love getting away and spending time here! They were the perfect couple for the night – laid back, relaxed and open to anything!

The weather has been so unpredictable this summer. For me that has meant lots of sessions with overcast skies, my favroite! The bright and beautiful sunshine is wonderful with crisp blue skies but I love the freedom that overcast skies give. As much as I am a sucker for some golden hour glow, overcast skiest gives us more freedom with locations and posing!

I love how this session came out from start to finish. From the couples choice of solid colors, to how simple but coordinated everything was. We spent some time walking one of my favorite beaches on the island (you have seen it over and over again on the blog, I never tire of it!) talking and getting to know each other a little. It really was the perfect, laid-back session!
