Thank you for stopping by to check out today’s blog about an Ashford Estate Wedding!
During my slow season, I like to reflect back on the past years’ weddings and pull some tips, tricks, and ideas from each wedding to help my future brides with their planning. Today is the Stott wedding at Ashford Estate! I am so grateful to be a member of Weddings of Distinction. This honor allows me to work at many of the best wedding venues in the state and Ashford is at the top of that list!
When pulling tips from each wedding I usually can pinpoint something very specific. An event that happened. Something that went wrong. Something that went right. How the couple chose to do something unique or follow tradition. When I look back at Amanda and Ed’s wedding I honestly remember how much fun they had. Not the surface level fun, but big belly laugh, too many drinks and inappropriate jokes (ps- these are all things that I love more than I can put into words!) kind of fun.
My tip from this wedding for future brides is: relax. Seriously. It will all work out. I promise. If you stay relax and let your vendors handle any bumps in the road you are creating an atmosphere to have FUN. Stay present in each moment. Don’t worry about anything else. Amanda and Ed laughed the entire day. When things were happening out of Amanda’s control she did the best thing possible, she shrugged her shoulders and went back to whatever fun moment she was having. THAT is the energy every bride should have!
When I think of the Stott’s wedding I can make a list a mile long of the pretty details and perfect portraits (since I am skipping that list, I included all the pretty things below!) but I still can feel the energy. I can feel how easy going they were and how much fun they had! If you do one thing on your wedding day, this should be it!
