Thank you for coming to see today’s blog about a Manahawkin photographer capturing a first birthday cake smash!

Last year I was lucky enough to get to spend some time with Zane and his parents and document his arrival. Zane was as sweet little boy and not much has changed!  Those big, beautiful baby blue eyes are still exactly the same!

 

 

Zane has the most amazing surf themed nursery with beautiful, endless shades of blues and details.  His mom carried all of those tones and colors into his first birthday cake smash photo session.  She thought out props and the vision she wanted.  As a photographer I always appreciate a client knowing what they want and preparing to make their vision come to life.

In just a few short weeks this family of three will become a family of four! We took some time during the session to document mom’s growing baby bump. It is such a beautiful time in this family’s life. In a few weeks their hearts will grow bigger than they ever thought possible. I know Zane is going to be an excellent big brother!

This was Zane’s first time having real sugar and cake.  As you can see by the photos he had no problem diving in and enjoying.  He loved the sweet icing and ignored the cake portion, the same thing most children do!  Happy first birthday Mr. Zane!  I hope every birthday is better than the last in your life!
